071-2023 Resignation
It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the resignation of Kevin Yoder, Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at CHS, effective July 31, 2023.
Minutes
Mr. Hunt stated that the Board was sorry to see Mr. Yoder leave and that the next person will have big shoes to fill, and that they wished the best for him.

072-2023 Appointment of Superintendent
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the proposed Superintendent of Coshocton City Schools..
Minutes
President Phil Hunt expressed excitement for the district and in sharing the news. He then read the following:
It is recommended that the Board of Education appoint Mr. Mark Kowalski as the new Superintendent of Coshocton City School District and approve his five-year contract effective August 1, 2023, through July 31, 2028.
He then opened the floor to Mr.Mark Kowalski. Mr. Kowalski thanked the Board and stated that he is privileged and honored to be chosen as superintendent for the district, where he has worked previously for 4 years. He sent on to share that he looks forward to sharing the district's successes and working together to overcome challenges. He said he is humbled and thanked the Board for the opportunity to serve as the Superintendent of Coshocton City Schools.
