079-2022 Resolution for Legal Counsel Authorization for Property Tax Valuation Matters
It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the Resolution for Legal Counsel Authorization for Property Tax Valuation Matters.
Minutes
Ms. Eyerman explained that when the Board approved the action to move forward with filing Board of Revision Counter Complaints, she did not realize or think about the possibility of negotiating values and needing to be prepared to speak on behalf of the Board. The attorney provided a resolution for this so we could continue to move forward with the cases that are scheduled. She also stated that this is a standing resolution and would be in place moving forward; Dr Hire agreed that it could be on the agenda for the January meeting each year to be approved moving forward.
