    6. 092.0-2026 Approval of Meeting Minutes

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following meeting minutes:

     

    June 25, 2026 Regular Meeting Minutes (All members of the board were present.)


    7. Hearing of the Public

    This meeting is a meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School Districts business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated. Those addressing the Board will be allotted three (3) minutes.

    9. 093.0-2026 Treasurer's Report and Recommendations
    Ms. Terri Eyerman, Treasurer

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following items:


    9.1 Updates

    The Insurance Fund continues to grow. The June 30, 2026 reconciled balance was $2,525,227.22, a 3.15% increase.  

    $271,232.74 was the dental portion of that balance - up 173.68. The medical portion of the balance was $2,253,994.48. The medical was up $76,871.73 over last month.


    9.2 093.1-2026 Monthly Financial Report

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the June 2026 Financial Summary as presented.


    9.3 093.2-2026 Donations

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the donations as listed:

    $1,600.00 Annual Distribution deposited to the Richard T. Turner Scholarship Fund from the Knox County Foundation.

     


    9.4 093.3-2026 Approval of the June 2026 Final Appropriations and the Final Amended Certificate of Resources.

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the FY2026 year end reports required to be filed with the Coshocton County Auditor. Attached you will find the 2026 Final Amended Certificate of Resources, and the Final Appropriations Resolution Report.


    10. 094.0-2026 Business Items

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following business items:


    10.1 094.1-2026 Vendor Contracts

    It is recommended that the Board of Education ratify the vendor contracts listed below for the 2026-2027 Fiscal Year effective July 1, 2026.

    • SAVVAS Learning Company - Grade 4 & 5 Interactive Science-Ohio Student Edition - 1 year, $10,327.50
    • Everway - News2you & Unique Learning System - 1 year,  $5,894.90
    • Houghton Mifflin Harcourt - PD-Coachly Curriculum - Into Reading and Into Lit - $7,500.00

    10.2 094.2-2026 Coshocton Regional Medical Center - Nursing Services Agreement Extension

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the amendment to extend the Nursing Services Consultant Agreement with the Coshocton Regional Medical Center to add an additional one year of services to expire two days after the last day of the academic school year of 2027.  All other conditions and cost remain unchanged.


    10.3 094.3-2026 Coshocton Regional Medical Center - Athletic Trainer

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the extension of the Athletic Trainer Agreement with Coshocton Regional Medical Center for a period of two (2) years to June 30, 2028.


    10.4 094.4-2026 School Resource Officer Agreement

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the School Resource Officer Agreement between the Coshocton County Sheriff and Coshocton City Schools for the period of August 19, 2026 through May 30, 2027 not to exceed $80,000.


    11. 095.0-2026 Superintendent Report and Recommendations

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following items:

    It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the following personnel items pending required paperwork, licensure, and BCI/FBI Background checks. Salary placement is per the negotiated agreement subject to verification of degree and experience:
    New Employees

    • Addendum: Tanner Shaw - Educational Assistant 1:1 (removed)
    • Kelsey McPherson - Educational Assistant (Hopewell Bus Aide)
    • Daphne Patterson - CES Substitute Teacher for the 2026-27 SY (Full Time)
    • Addendum: Garrett Rice - CHS Substitute Teacher for the 2026-27 SY (Full Time) (removed)
    • Josh Williams - CHS Substitute Teacher for the 2026-27 SY (Full Time)

    Resignations/Retirements

    It is recommended that the Board of Education enter into Executive Session for the purpose of: to review negotiations or bargaining sessions with public employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of their employment.
